I love all forms of dance. I wanted to create a steamy low-lit atmosphere where people are having the time of their lives. Seriously versed in the art of dancing, it becomes a competition to see who can out-dance the others.

A family escapes to a new life at night by following the North Star. Having gone through many harrowing experiences, they are determined to make it to freedom.

Men also quilt, first out of necessity - by taking pieces from used clothing and sewing them together to have something warm for the winter - and now for art and just for fun.

Only Thing Greater Than Yourself

A father holds up his newborn to the heavens to show the child that the only thing greater than him is the Creator. In the yard is a bottle tree representing the family's ancestors. Each bottle represents a different family member - seeing and touching the different bottles would remind the older members about stories of that person, allowing them to teach the younger members in the oral tradition about their family.
