Tables for Ladies

Two children walk up the steps to Chancery Lane from Main Street, circa 1946. Th sign “table for ladies” invites ladies to dine without the necessity of a gentleman escort. On the right is the Capitol Restaurant where the Annapolis Camera Club held monthly meetings.
